We started our home building journey several years back, but the wait was worth it because we were lead straight to Bilmar Homes. It was a God send. From our first meeting with Bill Pittman, we knew that we wanted to put our dreams in the hands of the Pittman brothers at Bilmar Homes. Everything about building a home was new to us, and we were warned by family and friends that it was going to take its toll on our marriage, but with the guidance we received from Bill and Mark Pittman and the others at Bilmar Homes, we quickly realized that this experience was going to be a good one. Even though we weren’t on any type of deadline, Mark made sure that the schedule for our house moved along quickly and smoothly. We were first time custom home builders and did not know what to expect going in. We believed building our dream home would not be possible within our price range. The team at Bilmar took the time to walk us through the process step by step, explaining the different costs and options and they turned our dream into a reality.
We spent countless hours with Jeff in the design phase questioning, choosing, changing our minds and then changing them back again. Never once did he make us feel as though we were bothersome. He just talked us through our decisions and answered all the questions that we had with a smile.
Mark was our builder, and he was fantastic. His attention to detail is amazing. He was always very helpful with advice and stands by his homes. He made us feel like part of the Bilmar family.
Michael went above and beyond our expectations. He was there every day, every step making sure it was going according to our wishes without fail and complaint. He got us in our home on an impossible time lime and for that, we cannot thank him enough. I would use BIlmar again and again, and tell people that all the time. Everyone at Bilmar Homes from the owners, construction managers (MIKE), office personnel, and construction workers have been nothing short of amazing. In fact, we loved working with Bilmar so much that we decided to build TWO homes with them. Being small and family owned while still being held to maintain the high professional standard says a lot about a company. From the design stage to closing day we have been (both times) extremely satisfied with the quality of work, the timeliness in which the work is completed, the ease of communication between not only us and the builder, but how fast it’s relayed to the workers as well. Bilmar has extremely competitive pricing in the area we have learned after doing our research and the quality of materials and attention to care were way beyond our expectations. Their “Standards” for the interior in a home are my “upgrades” in a cookie cutter home. Mike, our construction manager was more detailed than an architect building a high rise. Mike had our house scheduled out almost to the day (despite an entire two weeks of rain setback) and that’s including changes we made here and there that should have set us back. Bill, Mark, Mike, Sherry, Jeff, and everyone else in the office are always so sweet, they are easy to get a hold of so you don’t have to go through five different channels to get an answer and they are all very well respected in the home building/constructionindustry and the area they build in. We are so thankful they have made our dreams come true TWO times now… The first home we built Harvey got the best of unfortunately. Overall – I would highly recommend Bilmar to build your home. I’ve heard horror stories and Bilmar made our building process a cakewalk.

My husband and I started the home building process with Bilmar at the beginning of 2017. It was not our first home-buying, or home building experience, but it was our first time doing a custom home-build and we did not know what to expect. The staff at Bilmar walked us through every step of the process. They worked with us to make sure we were preparing to build exactly what we wanted. They listened to us about what was important and gave us wonderful suggestions on things we that had not thought of. Once we were ready to start construction and assigned to work with Mike our superintendent we ended up having almost daily contact with him, sometimes multiple times a day. He answered all of our questions and put a great deal of energy into making sure that we were informed every step of the way and were happy with the progress of our home. Mike was wonderful and became a true friend through the process. After the framing was completed, they gave us a tentative completion date. I was amazed that we actually closed and signed on that day. We are still so happy with our home. When small issues have arisen, Bilmar quickly responds and has taken care of them. We would recommend Bilmar to anyone considering building a custom home, and we would tell them they would be lucky to work with Mike, and we thank Bilmar and Mike every day for building our dream home.
